At Marbun Optometry & Associates, our goal is to provide exceptional customer service to all of our patients. We take pride in our personalized care and strive to spend the necessary time with each patient to ensure a comfortable experience.

Dr. Riolan Marbun
Optometrist

Riolan Marbun received a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Biology then graduated from Nova Southeastern University, College of Optometry with a Doctorate of Optometry degree. His honors include graduating Magna Cum Laude for his B.A. degree and Cum Laude for his O.D. degree. ​​​​​​​

 

Dr. Marbun, who has been in practice since 2002, specializes in General Optometry, Dry Eyes, and Contact Lenses. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, the California Optometric Association, and the San Diego County Optometric Society. ​​​​​​​

 

Dr. Marbun grew up in Nashville, TN, the youngest of three kids. After graduating, he practiced in Nashville from 2002 to 2009, and in 2009 moved to San Diego. Outside of work he enjoys Beach Volleyball, Running, Surfing, and traveling. He also does volunteer work with Big Brothers of San Diego and Lions Optometric Vision Clinic.

Dr. Jeffraym Espinoza
Optometrist

Dr. Espinoza attended San Diego State University and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology. He later attended and graduated from the Southern California College of Optometry at Marshall B. Ketchum University in Fullerton California.

 

As a local San Diegan, Dr. Espinoza strives to provide his community with the best vision, ocular health, and eyewear style. When he’s not seeing patients, he enjoys making espresso drinks, collecting vinyl records, pc gaming, and now learning how to surf.
